Tonight, ladies and gentlemen, I am stone cold sober.

Except for the booze that's still in my system from Thursday evening. A night of legend that was...the unexpected ones are the best!
I was a victim of goose-flirting the other day.
This bleeding great goose came up to me and wanted a light.
I said no.
Goose, there\'ll be no flirting today.

A small glass of Marqués de Cáceres, to accompany a lightly-salted cod done on the grill with oliva Mosto, red potatoes boiled in their skins with a light salad, and blue cheese on biscuits for dessert.

Somewhat eclectic, but most satisfying.

I too am a quarter Scotch, and I'm also a quarter Lithuanian. The other half is good British beef!  ;)

No drink again for me, though I really do wish I had a pint of something to relax me down. I'm getting very hungry, the other flat dwellers won't shut up and Das Boot is on the TV. I've got quite a bit of work still to do, so it looks like I could end up pulling an all-nighter.

And that concludes my report. Ta!

MrsJiB

A modicum of Vodka and lemonade (Yuk, but it was all that was on offer) and a bagel later and I am well on my way to being sozzelled. ( is that how you spell it I'm too much of it to know)?
Just listened to EIMA on the way home and I am feeling no pain.
JiB is sober and of course a boring old fart compared to me.
Celebrated 2 18 year olds coming of age and this oldies 46th Bday which I missed due to a stonking Migraine.
Hello to all and a merrily bank holiday to you all, hope you join me in my appreciation of the alcoholic stupor that I intend to find this weekend.
 :D  :D  :D
Hope Rosfest was all you hoped it would be be and that you enjoyed it.

I was wondering what you all were doing on at this hour, I keep forgetting you've got your bank holiday tomorrow whereas ours was Friday.

Bank Holiday! So that's why the Hulligan drunkards were out in force tonight... Ah, does this mean I don't have to hand my essay in tomorrow?  ;)  Honestly, it is finished. I'd just like a lie in.  8-)

rogerg

coffee and raisin toast as I try to catch up....  not to mention the 173 pictures to sort through....

Homemade Green skittle vodka, and half a pain killer seems to have done me in. And can I say after a few shots reading the variety of stuff in here gut busting, hehe.

Beer plus a delectable spot of Isle of Jura single malt. Attempting to numb the anguish of the forthcoming Company Update meeting on Monday when I will find out if I still have a job.

Cod and garlic mash, with a beer or four.

Opened a Penfolds 407 the other night, which was darker and more intense than the last time we had it. Must check the year, if I can find the bottle.
