Curiously, I suspect that a faux prog band (along the lines of Spinal Tap) would gather far more media attention for the genre than all the creativity and hard work of the last 25 years or so have otherwise done.  
I really think that the mainstream media (and I'm looking at you here: BBC) haven't heard anything released after about 1980.  :cry:

Actually, come to think of it; wasn't that how PT started out?  (but without the comedy elements)
