Jem

That really was a big thank you.  :D

Pajter

I LOVE IT!

I love everything Frost* do. In public at least.. :P

No BUTT seriously. It's really good. Can't wait to hear the rest.

edit: meh @ myspace crapquality...

gr8gonzo

Yes, thank you v much Mr. Jem for another fine quality bit of instrumentation and vocalisation.  I do love me Jellyfish, though I must say I did not sense their influence on that particular track.  A straightforward rocker with elements of ELO perhaps.  However, should you come in contact with Mr. Sturmer, do smack him with a trout for depriving the world of his talents**, will you?

**cartoon themes and J-pop do not equate to an Andy Sturmer solo album

Edit: Now I can't seem to stop imagining Andy Sturmer singing this.  Feel free to collaborate.  Somehow I don't think anything bad could come from it.

Atwa

Now that's just a perfect example how to get addicted to a song!

Thank you Jem, makes me look that much more forward to the Munich gig. :D

Pedro

Welcome Atwa!
I saw Yes in the Tollwood tent a few years ago, Frost* should be a great gig.
Enjoy yourself on here. :D

Blimey!

Are the versions of songs on the MySpace page exactly the same as the album versions? I thought I spotted some slight differences in The Other Me and Dear Dead Days, but I could have been imagining things.

Mouse

Ee by gum, that's a bit good isn't it? Cheers to you, Jem!  :D

Although it is good to know that it's MySpace's rubbish compression and technical dealies that make the song I uploaded sound the way it does. I'm relieved it's nothing to do with Cubase, my laptop or the tune itself!  :)

Big Black Shed

That's a bit special. Ta muchly.

Is that going on the DT special disc?
It's not the winning or even taking part. It's the arsing about that counts.

Pajter

I still can't stop listening to this song. It's got such a good vibe. It makes me feel like it's summer already!

I'm guessing it will be released in the winter...

L33VEY

Short, sharp and spiky

The closest that I can place it to is 1976 Buzzcocks.  Their short songs were supposed to be the opposite of prog - how the wheel turns..
Currently playing in The Frost*mobile:  Frost* Day and Age

Jem

Well Frost's not supposed to be entirely a prog band. i'd like to think we can nip about here and there from time to time and go exploring. Like Jellyfish or 10cc or ELO or sElf or Janey Child. ;)

Pajter

Isn't that what prog's about? As much musical genres as possible. :P

Pedro

LOL
Yep, prog will eat itself....it's the category that defies categorisation....no wonder it's so easy for people to dismiss it.... :(
