Saw this chap the other night and he totally stole the show from his support slot. The headliners can't have been pleased.

He produces the sort of detailed glittering electronica that is as progressive as it comes. One track made me think 'this is the sort of moment Underworld would take a whole album to build up to...and its his opening number!'

He's got quite a CV as well - he worked with Brian Eno on 'Another Day on Earth', played keyboards for Imogen Heap live, and just co-produced the last Coldplay album and EP. And with his Kaoss pad widdling he's actually great to watch too!

Highly recommended.
I was a victim of goose-flirting the other day.

Now proud owner of all three albums, and they're bloody marvellous.

Contact Note has Imogen Heap on vocals for her fans, and has a fair few bits that make you think 'Did you nick that from Lemon Jelly, or they from you?'.

The new album has the glorious track that Coldplay sampled for the opening/closing to "Viva la Vida", but also goes into Gavin Bryars territory in places.

Really rather good indeed.

Always was an Eno fan, and this is similarly evocative.

And it had me listening again to "Apollo", which is never time wasted.
This space for sale.

Lovely stuff Tom. Thanks for the tip - it must have sounded glorious live!

Was just fantastic in the flesh. Taking the wife to see him live soon.

He also manages that trick William Orbit, Moloko and Cornelius have or producing music that sounds quite gentle, ambient and quirky...until you turn it up loud and realise it has the bottom end of a hippo and the bollocks of an elephant. Simply massive stuff.

Hope you folks like the CDs as much as I did.

And I can confirm that a good steak was way better than sitting through Plaid, gamelan accompaniment or not.
