Quote from: "catherine"Played it to a drummer friend last night and he was VERY impressed - particularly with NDV's playing.

Incredible ain't it?! And he only "filled in" for that gig!
Hats off for the drum sound btw. They sound MASSIVE! Like "oempfh!" and "thumbfhuha" and "kaphoooewh!".

What's with the sheep btw?!  :D

I'm a bit of a late starter (SORRY), but I suppose better late than never.

I just took delivery of my Frost*fest CD today and OMFG it is absolutely amazing.  That intro is hilarious but very fitting to a great band.

The sound on the CD is awesome.  Can't wait to piss the wife off and play it when I'm in the car next.  MWAH HA HA HA HA HAAAAAAAAAAAHH.

Oh, BTW, when is "The Philadelphia Experiment" due to be released?

I can't wait to hear the WHOLE show.

Same here.. I want to re-live that awesome live Milliontown!

Valhall

Sorry if that has already been asked somewhere, but are the intro tape lyrics somewhere ? My english is not good enough to fully grasp every line, and the ones I got right just cracked me up, so I'm in dire need of the others

Anyone ?

Great live record by the way, with a truly awesome sound overall... You really are a production magi Mr Godfrey... Can't wait for the complete show to be released !
...Whatever.

Here you go....

Our name is Frost*....how do you do?
We're here today to play for you.
We've come all this way, we came on a plane
We're from the UK, where it always rains.
Apart from Nick and his beautiful locks
But he's only on loan from his friends in Spock's
To join us in Frost*!
To play some songs (Frost* songs)
That is why we are here (that is why we are here)
Although we plan to also drink your beer,
We're full of excitement, we're full of glee,
Except for Dec, who thinks he needs a pee...
The boys are ready, they're ready to go (never more so)
Even that nice Mr. D'Virgilio
So ladies and gents, it's finally time
To welcome on stage in an orderly line,
John, John, Jem, Dec and Nick....
Wonderful Frost*!
Glorious Frost*!
W-O-N-D-R-E-F-U-L Frost*!

ASAP. I've just got Milliontown to finish and then we've just got to work out what goes where. I'm really truly hoping it'll be on sale in time for Xmas.

And thank you everybody for the kind words about the mix.  :D

Fabuloso!
That's sooner than I'd expected, given the amount of work and/or miscellaneous shite that you've been dealing with lately.
In fact, I'd resigned myself to not expecting anything so that it'd be a nice surprise.
And Lo! It is!

Excellent news (and excellent sound)  :D

Marvelous! Can't wait to hear more of the gig, and I'm just as excited about the already mentioned DVD content.  :D

Fantastic news ! I've been listening to that CD so much, I can almost see through.

And please don't thank us mate, we're the ones in your debt for such auditory delight. Not only does this live mix incredibly manages to preserve a crystal-clear sound, but the balance between every instrument is so subtle, so precise, so amazingly detailed at every second, it makes me wanna jump out the window and run naked in the streets on a wild grandma-killing rampage out of sheer astonishment. It's like when I first heard Milliontown and my foot tapped so hard I couldn't walk for a year.

And did I mention the intro tape cracked my head wide open ? Then a whole herd of hysterical gnomes dressed like purple lightbulbs came out laughing. That was weird.
...Whatever.
