This Blank Page - Music Video! - My Band!

Hello :-) Just thought i would drop by and update you on my band This Blank Page. We have just released a couple of new recordings as our line up has changed a bit... we are now a 4 piece :-) and they are available to listen to on myspace.

We have been very busy doing lots of gigs and being on radio and have a fairly decent following :-)...

I had the same thing a few weeks ago. I said to someone "hey, this song sounds like its inspired by an other song". And the person I said this to played that other song and said "hey, you're right, but I never heard that before!"
I wonder what this says about my musicality

I don't see too much similarity apart from the keyboard quaver stabs, but i can see where you are coming from :-) .. if i means that you like our track then its cool

That's indeed the only similarity and nothing more, but I think each song has something that makes it characteristic and recognizable. And for these both songs I think the "keyboard quaver stabs" is the characteristic/recognition factor. Everyone experiences these things their own way, though

I mentioned what you said to the drummer - who ironically wrote the keyboards for that song and he said that was his direct influence for the part! You are the first and only person to ever notice haha

I like the video - I thought you all played your parts brilliantly. That said I did find the moments of out of synchness rather annoying - if you could fix those, it would be wicked.
