Hello folks. Just wondered, is anybody else having problems logging in on the It Bites forum? When I type my info in it just keeps returning me to the log in screen. I know my user name is correct and i'm 99.999 percent sure my password is too. However just to make sure i've tried clicking on the forgot password link and then it asks for my user name and email. When I type that in it says "This email doesn't match the one we have for your user name". Now that's definitely bogus, as I have the email from the It Bites Forum site which was sent to the email address in question and includes my user name. I've sent them a message but have had no reply yet. I know the forum has had problems in the past with hacking or whatever. Just wondered if anyone else had had the same problem? Thanks chaps and chapesses. :)

Hmm. Sorry to hear that.  I've just tried and I'm afraid to tell you I got in as normal 1st time.  ???
Stating the blooming obvious, but have you checked using capital letters etc?  I think names and passwords are case sensitive.  You couldn't have registered with Caps Lock on my mistake, could you?
Failling that, I'm sure Dena or one of the other forum administrators will be able to sort your problem out shortly.
Come on, you\'re a lion!

Hmm, interesting Mr Bond. I admit it would seem more likely that the problem is at my end, and I could possibly believe that i'd randomly decided to enter my password in a different case than usual. However, that doesn't explain why when I click on the "I've forgotten my password" link and enter my user name and email it says and I quote from the screen "The e-mail address you supplied does not match the one listed for that username". Well i'm definitely not putting that in wrong because i've tried it a couple of times, and if i'd entered it in wrong when I registered, I wouldn't have recieved the registration email in the first place. Heyho, guess i'll leave it a couple of days and try again, like the proverbial motorist lifting the car bonnet, fiddling with  the proverbial spark plug and then seeing if that's somehow done the job. :)
