Quote from: "XeRocks81"Well, got in the mail today about a week later.  I'm up to Memory of Water and I'm digging it so far.  I was listening to the tracks on their myspace last night and I was really hoping to get it today.   The comparisons to Kino are inevitable obviously, to me it sounds like the second Kino album that never happened.  I haven't listened to any old It Bites yet.

Probably one of my favourite tracks

Agreed, I always hear people note their favorite tracks (and it's usually Oh My God or Ghosts) and nobody ever mentions that song... looove it.

Ecosse

This Is England is definately my favourite track on the album 8-)

Film4 on Sky is showing right now Ken Loach's Cannes winning film starring Cillian Murphy and Padraic Delaney as brothers who take up arms in Ireland's fight for freedom in the 1920s called......."The Wind That Shakes The Barley".

JM - you a bit of a film buff then ??? :o  :o

i do, also, enjoy The Tall Ships, but i wouldn't say that it sounds like Kino.  There's definitely much more of a pop influence on this album.  Though not quite to my taste, i still believe that much of the music on this disc is very interesting and very much worth while.
JM is certainly a brilliant musician, and he always throws something out there that makes the corner of my mouth curl in delight.

I did hear about an It Bites gig supporting someone in London sometime in March I think it will be announced soon.  I'd go into more detail but I was hearing this post gig on Sunday by which point I and many others had taken up residence in the bar so the details are a little fuzzy
