I love all the different asterisks in front of the post topics on the forum.  I just wish I knew what they all meant.  Several of them don't appear on the legend given.  For instance, what is a narrow asterisk with a tiny asterisk to the lower right of it supposed to denote?  And what about the various colors (purply-blue, dark gray, etc.)?

As far as I can tell, the asterisks function like quality meters. The darker the asterisk, the lamer the topic.

i'm finding it easier just to press the 'view new posts' button and go down the list!

If only it was a list that only showed unread posts, like on the Tinyfish forum.
Then you wouldn't have to remember which you had looked at (if you are a forgetful old....wossname like me!).
