QuoteThe music CD for TPE has been remixed with the addition of the Brighouse and Rastrick brass band and a Welsh male voice choir.

Scarily I quite like the thought of this.............  :?

I discovered a couple of years ago that one of my ancestors lived in Cockermouth Castle.  Can't recall who at the moment.

Quote from: "catherine"I was looking at the bookshelves at work today. To my astonishment, what should I see but a copy of The Philadelphia Experiment by Charles Berlitz and William Moore. The first British edition, published in 1979.

I had the Ebook version. I say had, because after uploading it my Sony Reader disappeared.

Any new news on the live CD yet Jem?

 ;)

Pedro

I don't know if Jem has escaped from the pile pf removal boxes yet (although it's nice that the phone box has reappeared...or should that say re-materialised?)...
I am under the impression that it shouldn't be too much longer now...maybe just a handful of weeks?

Or 'Shithouse and Plastick' as they are more commonly known. Sadly, I don't think the brass band world (to which I make most of my own musical contributions) has ever fully recovered from their Terry Wogan-enhanced 'Floral Dance' which set the movement back some 100 years...

Blimey, sounds like there are some unresolved tensions out there in brass band land

Next up, tales of nobbling the competition in giant vegetable growing land ...

Not really!! Just like to take the mickey out of the BB Big Boys from time to time!!! But, it is hard for brass banders to shed the flat cap, " 'ey up where's tha ferret youth"/ Hovis image (a propos your vegetable comment, TA!) :D

It is quite a 'progressive' movement in its own way, there's a lot of great music being written - technically demanding yet cracking stuff to listen to - if that's your thing.

I guess I should be posting this in the 'Other Bands' section  - sorry to get so OT!!! Hang on, this is the Frost forum though....

QuoteThe brass on Big Big Trian's "Underfall Yard" is lush.

Will the standard edition of TPE still be a 3 disc set or was that a strictly limited pressing with the DVD? And when will TPE be available to order again?

Pedro

Not my place to answer really bit I'd guess that the "Limited" edition was with the TShirt, "Special" would be with the DVD and "Standard" would be just the 2CDs...BUT...only Jem decides what will be available next.

It's in the shop again now. Same 3 disc set but with no t-shirt.
It's in the post!
