Love it first off, What is Jem Saying at the end of it ? Something like "Music, Must We have More......." Something like that! And Is that in fact the Hidden message??   I actually did a search on this and was kinda surprised to find nothing?!! :?

Haven't found anything but I've not really been trying too hard.
The bit you refer to always sounds to me like "People, we thought we had more music and then we had more, it would be rather..."
...but, of course, these are just words that I hear. :)

I think MikeEvs had a stab at the "you're not everything" bits somewhere.

He included the backward bit, not the backward forward bit, which was recorded forward, then learned backward and later recorded backward to sound forward when played forward. The vocal equivalent of that keyboard bit in Toys.

I hope I'm not being too forward in my explanation.

It's a lament for the loss of the past, but in reverse. We are travelling backwards in time at that point, as you'll notice from the "2009" and "2008" headers in the lyrics .  :D

It is entirely backwards. Anybody hearing forwards phrases in it is merely experiencing sympathy time travel pangs.  :lol:
