It is with great pleasure and anticipation that I announce that Tiger Moth Tales (I) will be opening up for the one ... the only ... MOON SAFARIIIIIIII! :)
http://www.teamrock.com/news/2016-02-17/tiger-moth-tales-to-support-moon-safari
Mr Jon Twang Patric is putting on a show with Moon Safari at the Borderline in London on Wednesday May the 11th. He very kindly asked me if I'd be interested in opening for these legends of modern prog. I had to think for 0 seconds before gratefully accepting.
The surreal thing is that it comes slap bang in the middle of rehearsals for the Camel shows, but Andy is ok with it. :)
If you're free and are up for a trip to London to to see the fantastic Moon Safari with a bit of TMT thrown in, the tickets are right here:
https://www.stargreen.com/moon-safari.html/

Hope to see some frost*ies there and maybe have a pint or two with you. :)
Woop!

rogerg

very cool.  Grate, Peter!

Trapezium Artist

Well done that man.

Would love to come to that double-superstar gig, but a little tricky for me to come from the Netherlands since it's midweek, and I will actually have been in London for a gig the previous Saturday, namely to see (I can still scarcely believe this is possible) Lush at the Roundhouse.

I mean, Lush  8)

Swoon.

Really pleased the gigs and good news keeps coming to the TMT camp! I would love to be there if at all possible!

Thanks a lot chaps. I must admit I feel like I seem to be just saying "Look at me!" a lot at the moment. Lol. But what with the developments of the last 2 or 3 weeks there does seem to be a lot to tell. I do feel like a luck bar towel.

RacingHippo

The Moonies happen to be one of my fave bands in the known universe.
That fella doing support is quite good, too, I hear.
I'll be there!

Hi folks. Just thought I'd say hello.
Well I guess moths do get to the moon sometimes. :) So who's coming to the Borderline next Wednesday (May 11th) to see the sublime Moon Safari doing their thing? And don't forget support by the adequate Tiger Moth Tales! Lol
If anybody's up for it you can find more info here:
http://theborderlinelondon.com/search/moon+safari
It would be absolutley wondreful to see some Frost*ies there and maybe have a crafty pint or 3. In an orderly manner of course. Lol

Then after that it's three days rehearsals with the cracking Camel chaps.
In the perhaps unlikely event that there's any folks coincidentally planning a trip to Japan and you fancy catching a Camel show, there's details at the Camel website:
http://www.camelproductions.com/
The next mothington outing will be with the Gift and We Are Kin in August, but that's a little while away. There will also be plenty of Tiger Moth Tales and Red Bazar gigs towards the end of the year including the tremendous Summers End. I'll keep all you strange yet highly loveable moth fanciers up to date as always. :)
So that's my little update, except to say that I'll have a little something out on Bandcamp very soon so that's something to look out for. Also, if any folks are stil wanting to by the Red Bazar album, it's here in hard copy:
www.whiteknightrecords.co.uk
Or as a download here:
https://redbazar.bandcamp.com/album/tales-from-the-bookcase
Thanks as always for your support. You are fabtastic. :)

Hi folks.
Blimy! This is coming up at a rate of knots! The next acoustic outing for Tiger Moth Tales will be on August 7th, at The Power Of Three event, The Lexington London. I'll be representing Tiger Moth Tales and sharing the bill with two superb prog bands, We Are Kin and The Gift. I worked with We Are Kin last year and they were finominal. I can't wait to hear tracks from the new album performed live. I've never met or seen The Gift, but I love their work so I'm muchly excited about that too. If you want to come to this fab show, please check the events page for more info.

It's going to be a prog threesome to remember! :o)

More news! Extremely excited about this.. :)
Special announcement! Red Bazar and Tiger Moth Tales have been rehearsing for a double header on Wednesday 14 September at The Maze in Nottingham.
Tickets £5 on the door or £4 in advance from
www.themazerocks.com
We're very excited about this gig as it's the first time Red Bazr have played the new album, and the first time Tiger Moth Tales has gone out with a full band! From the TMT point of view, I'm looking at it by way of a warm up for Summers End, but if you don't mind being our guinaepigs, I can promise you a fantastic evening.
In the passed I would have posted a spoiler to show you how fab the bands are sounding, but I'm going to make you wait for the night, as I'm confident you won't be disappointed.
I'm especially hoping that the TMT and RB enthusiasts in the Nottingham and surrounding areas will try their best to come along, because this is the first time we've all played so close to home and I think it's going to be special. Also, it's a chance for those who couldn't make Summers End and the tickets are a steal!
Please click the link abuv for tickets, also for those on facebook there's an events page here:
https://www.facebook.com/events/968578676591497/
Put the date in your diaries, and please spread the word to the Nottingham prog massive. Many thanks and see you there.
