My copy arrived in the afternoon and whilst I haven't had a chance to play any CD yet (ooh, dilemma - which of the 8 do I choose first?!) I have to say it is a thing of fantastic beauty. :) Good old Vitamin P has done an outstanding job. Essential purchase for any Frost* fan. 8)

Doesn't seem like my physical copy will come in for a bit, but I did notice that all of the remasters and such are available on the Frost* - Topic Youtube page.

Had a listen to the remixed EIMA and I think I prefer it to the original. It seems less compressed and all of the instruments appear to have more room to breathe. Andy's drums definitely sound clearer and are possibly more prominent in the mix. I like what Jem has done with Secret Song. It sounds more 'meant' as part of the album. Still too long a fade though! 8)

Got our copy in the LF/Philadelphia household yesterday!

So far listened to EIMA remix (about which I think I concur with DS, it's a bit less compressed sounding, though it is still pretty brutal on the ears thanks to the constant cymbal and snare-attack!) and now we're onto "Falling Satellive" (aka "the only Frost* gig we ended up not turning up to on the day...!)

Book is a thing of wonder. Looking forward to listening to the rest of it, though I can't help but notice that nearly 4 entire CDs are made up of variations on the same material from the one album.

I've not listened to the demos yet but I could think of quite a few other "oddity tracks" I'd have expected to see on that last CD instead (1976, anyone?)
