Can it do a freeform middle-eight? You know - the jam* in the middle.

*Note to USians: Jam is the proper word for the fruit preserves that you, for some inexplicable reason, call "jelly"**.
**Note to USians: Jelly is the proper word for what you call "Jell-O"***, a gelatin dessert.
***Note for non-USians: "Jell-O" is a trade name for a popular brand of jelly in the US. See also "Kleenex".
* May contain nuts.

Quote from: "Jem"The backwards bit was written forwards, then reversed, learnt backwards, sung forwards backwards, reversed again so that the backwards stuff ran forwards, but sung backwards.

I'm now going picture Jem dressed up like that dwarf (is that the politically correct term these days...probably not) in Twin Peaks whenever I listen to that bit.

Oh I know, I've had Audacity for ages, I'm not sure to be honest what possessed me to forget about it and used Movie Maker, but it's done a pretty decent job of it!
(In fact I could've done it in Pro Tools, but that seemed like overkill and I wasn't prepared to wait for it to bounce in realtime   )

Fair enough Phrog, it just sounded to me like you didn't have anything else to do it with :)
Broadband! A whole 2.5MB of it!

I used Audacity to make my "other me" mash-up.

Oh, and USians have jam. Jam is a different consistency than jelly. Jam is preferable on sandwiches as it is more easily spread, whereas jelly is more "chunky."

Jam is what you put on toast, scones and in Victoria sponge cakes.

Jelly is what you have at kids parties, in a bowl with cream on top.

Tuh, bloody Americans........  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)
It's not the winning or even taking part. It's the arsing about that counts.

My fault, I forget sometimes that other people don't have direct access to my train of thought   . Thank you for the offer of help, nonetheless, kind sir!  :)

Quote from: "sawtooth"I love, absolutely LOVE the whole track, but my pants explode during the gorgeously beautiful electric violin solo in the last vocal section! When I first heard it I thought it was a Steve Hacket flavoured e-bow guitar, but then it dawned on me that it doffs a big capful of goodness at 'Losing It' by Rush. Utterly goosepimply. :D

Funnily enough - Jem sent me that Rush solo and said "can you do something a bit like this?"

Job's a godd'un then :)

Thankfully I have now heard TDL (and the rework of Snowman)

TDL ... farking blinding choonage !

Jem's back to his very best with that one, I hear elements from both EIMA and Milliontown .. genius .. cant wait to buy a proper version. Snowman I thought was sounding Gabriel'esq

.. farking marvellous  :D
... it was like watching a peach jelly f##k a steel drum ..
