Staring down the barrel, it looks like UPS are trying the psychological warfare card.

It is 3 weks since my initial conversation with my Manager, in which I asked a number of questions.
It is 2 weeks since I handed in my resignation, again asking for further information.
It is a week since I e-mailed the top dog in the UK. (Female, so I suppose she's not a dog  :D )

Not a peep. Even following an e-mail on Thursday night to my boss, his boss, his boss & the top dog again.

I think this counts as unnecessary stress at work, as I asked for some progress before going on holiday today.
It's the stress  :evil: , not the holiday why I'm on here now, & the fact I had a couple of bits of inspiration at 3 this morning :lol:  :lol:

I feel like a Queen........track, I'm going slightly mad, (can't find a cuckoo smiley)

For anyone not familiar with tachograph legislation;

From our National Transport Compliance document.

The Legal Responsibilities of the Employer - UPS must organize work loads so that drivers are able to comply with the Driver's Hours and Tachograph Regulations

Time to involve the press...Watchdog or similar? I remember a documentary a few years ago in which a haulage company who were hiring untrained drivers to carry dangerous goods was infiltrated by investigators, but I can't remember made it.
Also to be found running the website and merch sales at www.lifesignsmusic.co.uk

Thanks Julie, but not yet.
UPS won't want the publicity. I think that's why I've been sent to Coventry.
I'd like to think that they are revueing the information from my grievance, re-questioning the Managers that I named, and there are a few, and working out what the cost to them just in adverse publicity would be. As an Olympic sponsor, it wouldn't go down well, I'm pretty sure that the Tachograph non-compliance would lead to a Public Inquiry, and that's without the Integrity issues that were ignored for the best part of 10 years.
It's difficult right now not having had any information back from them, but I think (hope) that I'm on the right track, or at least close.
The one thing it has done is give me more ammunition from last week, to show that despite putting some info in my resignation, UPS still think they are big enough to continue to break the law, and I'm sure it's not just UPS, as Pedders found though, UPS make a big issue of Integrity, (but only on paper  ;) )
