I'd be worried enough if I was JM with your note-for-note copying of his solos but also doing the "I'm a prog god!" keyboard solo from Falling Down on a guitar??!
I trust the banana was suitably impressed...  

I was quite chuffed that I managed to make Falling Down work on guitar, glad you enjoyed it. But I don't think JM has anything to worry about from a young whippersnapper like me taking his spot.

(Not that that wouldn't be awesome...)

Edit: Ah forgot to mention. It was a bit hard to tell if the banana was appropriately appeased. To be honest it's been kind of demure the whole time for some reason.

Maybe the sunny day delay was for a photo...what you just watched was not a photo...

I needed a sunnier day for that video actually. My room is incredibly dark, and when you have the window being bright behind whatever you're filming it makes everything dull. When you're trying to record something with fast small movements like that in bad lighting it always comes out blurry.

I've got two desk lamps focused on the guitar (you can just about see the glare on the headstock from one) and it STILL makes that guitar look very dark. This is what it's supposed to look like in a well lit room:



And you can barely tell it's not black in the video.

Then turn around
Film from the window towards you so that the sunlight illuminates you, instead of it flooding the camera and effectively making it squint, thereby making the rest of the room go dark (and making you a silhouette).
Science, innit?
