So......after being together for six years Samis boyfriend has finally decided the time has come to make an honest woman of her. I told him that she has been utterly corrupted by weird rock fans and musicians but he still insisted on trying so all credit to him. Me and Sue are of course totally delighted and wish them all the luck in the world. They are currently on holiday in Malta (lucky buggers), I recon the heat must have got to him.........
I am one proud and happy Dad.

Very, very proud to announce that at 11:09 this morning Sami gave birth to a little boy  (7lb 7oz), named Bradley making Sue and me Grandparents for the first time. 

Apparently I'm far too well to be hanging out there any more 

Sami says I'm allowed to tell you this but you have to keep it to yourselves until she's made it official - I'm going to be a Granddad!

Rather excellent news actually, the feeding tube has gone and I can talk!

Very happy to report that with a mountain of NHS equipment I'm being sent home. I'll still be tube fed and won't yet be able to start learning to talk but I'll be home!!

I've been diagnosed with throat cancer, yes, sounds really shocking! The good news is it's one of the least "bad" cancers all contained in one lump on my vocal chord/throat. The ENT/Oncology specialist I saw this morning assures me that 6 weeks of radiotherapy and a small surgary to remove whats left and I'll be feeling like a new man (eventually). This is good news as I've been feeling rather unwell for a while and now I at least know why and what's to be done to put me right again, so no cause for alarm but a time for positive thoughts like where the hell did I hide those bloody hob nobs!

 On the 3rd and 4th of January 2013, Myself, Jem Godfrey, Nathan King and John Mitchell will be recording an official Frost* DVD of music and documentary stuff at the legendary Rockfield studios.

Me and Sue are members of a photography/camera club and throughout the year we have several competitions. Our next competition requires that we submit TWO entries each. This rather took me by surprise, I like Galahad so I expected to like it but by Jove they've gone and really pulled a right good 'n out of the bag. I'm very, very impressed with it, any other opinions out there?
